DIG DEEP INTO PERU'S PRE-COLUMBIAN HISTORY

Housed in an 18th century viceroyalty mansion, Museo Larco showcases the most extensive collection of pre-Columbian artifacts in Peru and features many fine examples of textile work, one of which has a world record 398 threads per inch. Also found in the museum is an erotic gallery, featuring a collection of most surprising ancient sexually inspired pottery.

The museum is surrounded by enchanting green gardens and also has a world-class cafe/restaurant situated on its terraces.
