Rwanda in January with

Rwanda is a premiere destination for gorilla trekking, but there are dozens of reasons to experience it, and January is the perfect time of year considering the dry season, and our DMC partner Travel Wild East Africa curates custom itineraries. Guests may want to explore and see the 13 other species of primates in this ecosystem and walk through East Africa’s only canopy walk, all to be found in the dense rain forests of Nyungwe Forest National Park.

Rwanda has developed its reputation for Gorillas. Experts estimate that there are only 780 mountain gorillas still in existence anywhere on earth, and one-third of these majestic creatures can be found in Volcanoes National Park alone.
